With 500,000 Victorians left without power the authorities are blaming it solely on the collapse of several transmission towers. This from a mob whose plan is to build more and bigger towers to carry green energy around the state. But the strange fact is that, even though this might sound like a contradiction, too much wind also causes wind turbines to stop. Anything in excess of 25 m/s (90 km/hr) is dangerous for the wind turbine so it opts to shut down. With wind gusting to 117 km/h yesterday guess what happened? Yep, the turbines shut down. Green energy is a failure and a scam, a view I have covered in several blogs such as; dennis-exciting-times.blogspot.com/2023/12/the-age-of-lunacy.html

Last I heard (16/2/24) there are still about 50,000 Melbourne punters without power. If you live in a street where your friendly, local Greeny Council encourages eucalyptus trees, you really do want a (petrol) generator to hand ... 🛢️
