I was in the hospital emergency room Sunday night, and Monday morning. Pain in ears, and painful urination, and blood in urine. Final result:Upper respiratory tract infection, and urinary tract infection. The two antibiotics which they prescribed are kicking my butt. I have great difficulty getting out of bed to go take a leak. My mind is extremely fuzzy. I sleep for up to twelve hours at a time, which makes it impossible to take my medications at the correct time. I'm hoping that my son can set me up with a home nursing service until I've finished the antibiotics.

Jayzuz, sorry to hear all that Vincent. You're covered by Veterans' Affairs, or whatever the 🇺🇸 equivalent, I presume? Sleep is good - it's when you heal & the body fights infection. Heheh, you'll have to get nursey to, uh - how to say? - 'hold you up' when urinary matters impose ... 🚽 👩⚕️ Take care and be sure to stay in bed with nurse.  * Hey, and take care not to sign anything in your present fuzzy state. Got an idea you mentioned some misgivings in that regard some time ago? If badgered, you can always fumble, mumble, go to sleep with pen in hand when they're talkin' to you. 😴 |

Sorry to hear that you are not well, as we get older these things happen. Does your son have your power of attorney? Make sure someone reliable can do things for you and you can pass stuff off to them to ease the pressure. My motto is don't go to hospital, people die in hospital. (I reckon our local has tried to kill me off twice.)
