Some people hate Jews so much they want to support anything that makes them feel "normal" I equate it to the same as those who hate Trump with an illogical pathological hatred. It is unbalanced and irrational.

TW: contains strong language www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=WehrabooThe Death Korps of Krieg is a borderline case: It's appearance*, iconography and name are strongly German coded - Krieg actually is the German word for war - but it's doctrine is about as different from German WWI and WWII doctrine as you can get; initiative and independent thinking were strongly encouraged in the Prussian army and the other German armies following the Prussian model, but those are very dirty words among DKK officers... *the helmets look Bulgarian, but then Bulgaria was an ally of Germany in two World Wars

Ban Nazi symbols/paraphenalia only gives'em oxygen. Leads to black markets and cult status for all things Nazi. I say ignore them and they'll go away. There are laws already to deal with offensive behavour, riotous assembly etc. When it comes to keeping Nazi mythology alive among skinhead morons, Indiana Jones sure doesn't help ..
There's a famous (unwritten) rule in American cinema : " Every Hollywood actor will, at least once in his career, be obliged to dress up in a World War 2 German Army or SS uniform." * Not sure if the rule applies to actresses.

But Mel Brooks did it best, I still enjoy watching "To Be or not To Be" and he makes a brilliant Hitler even if they did censor the Hitler Rap.

One could speak of The Hollywood Hitler Industry. What drives it? Who benefits? Qui bono?
However. I would not wish to be accused of anti-Semitism; I would not cause distress to my good friend Dennis here; nor to Questers who gather here.
Therefore, I shall speak no further.

Mel Brooks said he was happy to portray the Nazis as the bumbling morons we all thought they were, probably why the TV series Hogan's Heroes was popular for so long. We like to think it is only stupid people who might have that much evil in them. Unfortunately many people have some level of it and when it becomes the norm nobody wants to be on the wrong side of it. Just look at how they censor conservative or religious comment these days, I was sent to Facebook jail for using the term faggot in a joke - that is now hate speech.

Hollywood Nazis tend to be one-dimensional comic-book-villains. Woke hollywood has little interest in an in-depth analysis of the 3rd Reich's political economy as an behemoth un-state ruled by various cabals of competing (and sometimes mutually hostile) rackets. After all, some moviegoer might put 2 and 2 together and come to the conclusion that BLM, BDS, FFF and Extinction Rebellion are rackets, too...
