So the supposedly second strongest army in the world considers the destruction of 4 IFVs and a tank designed in the late seventies a major victory now...

To clarify myself: The Bradley isn't as horrible as the Combat Reform weirdos claim it is (CR is for military things what carlos Albuquerque is for palaeo stuff, including the furry habit *), but it isn't an unstoppable wonder weapon either; it's a reasonable decent design made by mortal humans, not an unstopable wonder weapon. The Kamov Ka-52 seems to do quite well, though, maybe it's time for a turboprop fighter to hunt helicopters? Putting a PT6 into an Bearcat or Sea Fury airframe isn't exactly rocket science... (See, I can do that Combat Reform stuff, too. Just shoot me if I become a furry ) *and no, being employed as an janitor at Rockwell international in 1972 does not mean that you are the designer of the A10, who had his work approved by Hans-Ulrich Rudel (as if the US, at the height of Nixon's war on drugs, would show classified stuff to a guy working for Bolivian narcos)

The Ukraine is just a way for them to syphon off money from taxpayers, Putin is not worried he has "liberated" the Russian speaking regions from Ukrainian occupation. Zelensky had promised them a referendum if he won the election but then reneged, Ukraine has been shelling Russian speaking towns since 2014.
There is a bit of information leaking out, this is a reasonable clip even if it is a bit long. I recommend jumping to about the 40 minute mark to decide how much you might be interested in watching 40 - 55 mark is not bad

Language is becoming increasingly irrelevant im birth of a nation scenarios - Michael Collins and Eamon de Valera spoke English, rather than Gaelic, and Kyiv and Odessa are just as majority Russian speaking as Donetsk and Luhansk are. Serbians and Croatians share the same language, and guess how well this did work out...

No state can tolerate separatists within its borders, or it ceases to be a state. The American civil war killed one milliom out of a population of 30 millions, that is pretty much the victorian equivalent of using nukes.

One million dead is probably but not certainly too high an estimate, but is within one order of magnitude. www.history.com/news/american-civil-war-deaths

No state can tolerate separatists within its borders, or it ceases to be a state. It would give the United States a major headache if Russia and/or China could get military weapons in large amounts to such as these ... Yeah, that would be an Act of War. But then, so what? America's proxy war against Russia in Ukraine means they're already at war; it would make strategic sense to them π·πΊ do as they're done by. If I were a CIA/FBI intel man, I'd be keeping antennae tuned for anything "going on" down south. π²π½ π¨πΊ π»πͺ And I'd be 'war gaming' scenarios as to how an adversary could go about it. For example, by way of Cuba? Or perhaps Venezuela? Then there's Alaska, right next door to Russland. Fwiw & imho, Australia will face a similar challenge in the near future. We have traitors in high office working day-and-night to break up the Commonwealth. This will lead to armed insurrection if disaffected militants can get hold of guns from, say, China.
