I had difficulty understanding what she's saying. I guess my hearing aids are not as good as they need to be. She was using the Aboriginal terms for the animals which can be confusing but in a nutshell the tribe believes they are not extinct and had seen them. The big black one they report is probably what most people call a panther but is in reality thylacoleo. The aboriginals regard them as different colours of the same species. |
