Dont know if I should mention this but here goes. Story I heard was lady paid visit to NE Vic region and in preparation for her visit some cat cut outs were planted in the scrub. That the lady was not amused was an understatement. The local wallabies and roos were equally un amused as they quit the scrub en masse and headed for the open country. I have heard of this on previous occasions , people would know if a cat was around by the roos heading into the open to sit around in groups waiting for the cat to move on. Also a new city farmer bought a stocked farm in the same country He had heard about the cats and on hearing a cat sounding off one night he armed himself with a torch and sallied forth to deal with it. The cat was at a dam having a drink and our hero saw these enormous shiny eyes so chased off after it. He was a fit runner but the cat kept ahead and circled the dam a number of times. By then the cat had had it's fun so headed off into the donga, no doubt to have a good laugh. I always knew that these cats had a sense of humor. To date my camera efforts resulted in pic of rear end of local moggie. Cat has not been back. Hopefull I will visit Parachilna Gorge soon when vehicle repairs are finished. I will look for a place to set the camera up in safety, and a bag of dog cubes for bait, here''s hoping. Wally
