A crying shame really. (Not that there's anything not to like about the cats themselves!) Thanks for the tip - I've put it on my website.

There is nothing wrong with cats, except the ones in Ausralia, they don't belong here and do terrible damage. I was at a relative's farm today and a visitor remarked that it was nice to see families of Fairy Wrens flitting about saying that they never see them at their place - of course not they have a cat.

True... Fairy wrens, thornbills and any small birds are to cats what Pringles and Smiths Chips are to couch-potatoes...
It's the same with foxes and rabbits. They do a heck of a lot of damage, but it's not their fault: they're only doing what instinct tells them to...
It's the clowns that introduced them to Oz in the first place that need a right royal kick in the pants!

Its a high time this crazy cat breeding was stopped, we have enough trouble with the cats we have. I have evidence that the bigcat is breeding with normal ferals producing hybrids although not the size of the bigcat, it has a bulky body far bigger than a feral but with shorter legs and feral cat sized feet. Once the camel man at Parachilna went on a fox trapping binge as his waxbills were disappearing. That was when he caught 2 juvenile bigcats, When I opened up one of the victims it was stuffed full of waxbills (zebra finches). I regret not counting them but there was a hell of a lot of them. A big feral can easily accomodate a big rabbit head and all, so thats a lot of waxies. ( The rabbit head was swallowed whole) Wally
