"Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you"
"You hunt for the big cats, and you'll find one soon too!"
Not very poetic, I know, but then I'm not a poet!
All the best Wally!
Cheers,
Mike & Family.

My heartfelt thanks to you all for your kind words. I believe red oxidises rather quickly so we cant see it go to waste. now can we. The game camera donated by a kind donor has arrived so I am planning a trip to Parachilna early next week for a few days so we will see how it goes. I will try it out at a Para Gorge campsite so that I can camp nearby and it won't spook the cat if it comes scrounging around. After that I will find a more secure permanent observation station and bait it with a roadkilled animal. I anticipate that with IR LED flash there will be no high voltage build up to emit HF sound. Anyway here"s hoping. I find that I will have to get a small portable TV to check what is in the camera, that is unless someone can donate a laptop. Regs to all Wally

Hi Wally,
Regarding viewing the pics on the game camera, while out bush, one thing you can try would be to pop the SD card out of the game cam and insert it into your digital camera (assuming it uses SD cards!).
Since the SD cards are formatted in a standard way (FAT16), it is possible to load and view the pics on most cameras that uses SD memory cards.
Does your Kodak digital fit the bill? It would save you lugging a telly or laptop around with you!
Cheers,
Mike.

When I get some pics I will try the didg camera before going bush. It just has to review what the camera. has taken. When I am in buisness I will get a change over card. Wally
