Collect the bounty for killing the cat then pay out the mega-bucks in fines, because its illegal to kill big cats in the wild without a special permit! LOL! I wonder how much in the red a person could actually end up !

Considering these big cats technically don't actually exist here in Australia. Then I seriously doubt that there is any form of legislation here in Australia protecting them from any type of hunting. How can a government lay down protective laws to protect an animal that hasn't been scientifically proven to exist on our shores? All up, I'd think you could knock one off by what ever means is at your disposal, and that you would be fairly safe from prosecution. Being safe from persecution by animal lovers might be a different story. I for one, would love to see one on a slab if it was to finally prove that they exist in Australias wilderness.
