What would have made that slidemark in NSW?

i found that mark about 2 years ago northern nsw . when i first found it , i thought a canoe launch area but that night after spotlighting and checking trail cams i got back about 1am in the morning got out of the car to set up my tent and i heard a large animal go into the water . well in the morning i check and i saw what ,would be marks as if a croc had push off quickly.last year a 1.5 metre alligator was found in nsw near pambula, wires had custody for a while then gave it to mogo zoo.i have seen crocs near townsville, heard of them near rocky and bundaburg.not so out of placed. dont forget a small pigmy hippo was running wild for 7 years in the top end .australia has many places where any thing could and does hide . only matter of times until someone get a picture.

Interesting stuff Ray, I know crocs are now accepted as seasonal visitors to Fraser Island. So I suppose the odd maverick traveller may stray even further south. And yeah Australia certainly hasn't given up all of it's secrets yet.
